Getting around
Arriving
none nearby. No railway. Arriva coaches run from Aosta (about an hour) and direct from Turin and Milan; the Mont Blanc tunnel makes it the first Italian stop from Chamonix.

The Skyway Monte Bianco cable car rotates up to Punta Helbronner at 3,466 m from Pontal d'Entreves, a short local bus hop from the centre.

The village is pedestrian; local shuttles cover the hamlets and the Skyway base, and in season they are frequent.
On foot
- ·Via Roma is the mountain passeggiata; the Val Ferret and Val Veny balcony walks start a bus hop away
- ·Book the Skyway for a clear morning and check the wind closures; it is the valley's one unmissable ride
Taxis and driving
- ·Useful for the side valleys out of season; in August the Val Ferret road closes to cars at peak hours in favour of shuttles
