Choosing the path
On the home page and at sign-up you choose between 'I'm planning an Italy trip' and 'I'm already in Italy'. The choice follows you through checkout and into your first trip, so you're never asked twice and land straight in the right flow.
What starting one costs
Starting an already-in-Italy trip uses one trip window at the moment the trip is created, that window covers the trip's itinerary work. Trip Pass includes one trip window and Italy Year includes 3; see the trip windows article for the full picture.
What you get
The day-of toolkit from the start: Today for the current day's plan, the day map with walking routes, and the Concierge for on-the-ground questions in our voice. Set your dates and cities and the same planning tools as any other trip are there too.
