What gets a pin
Sightseeing stops from the selected day are pinned in visit order, using the exact coordinates of the place wherever we can resolve them. Tap a pin (or a list row) for the stop's card: photo, why it's on the plan, booking flags, and links out.
Honest by design
Some parts of a day aren't a point on a map: a walking tour, a hike, a ferry or train leg. Those stay in the schedule but deliberately don't get a pin, and a stop we can only place roughly shows as a hollow ring marked 'approximate area' instead of pretending to be exact. When not everything could be placed, the map says so ('N of M stops mapped'), and the route line connects exact pins only. A day built entirely around a walk or a day trip shows an honest card instead of a misleading map.
Walking route and times
The gold line between pins follows real streets, and the stop list shows per-leg walking minutes and distance, plus a day total, so you can judge the day's legs before you're on them.
Handoff to Google Maps
For navigation, use 'Open mapped route in Google Maps' to load the day's pinned stops as a walking route, or the per-stop Maps link for one place, its hours, photos, and directions. Stops that need tickets link to the official booking site where we have it.
The Food layer
In cities where we've curated food venues, the map has a Food toggle showing them as an overlay, our picks, not ads. Cities without curated venues simply don't show the toggle.
