FAQ

How the Concierge answers your questions

Uses your trip context and Italy on Foot's editorial research.

What it is

The Concierge answers in Italy on Foot's voice, for your particular trip. It knows the cities, dates, walking comfort and dietary needs you've saved, so answers arrive shaped to where you actually are and what you actually booked, not generic Italy advice. Official sources stay final for opening hours, prices, tickets, transport and entry requirements.

What to ask

“We're tired, what should we cut from today?” · “Where should we eat near here that isn't a tourist trap?” · “Should we add Lucca to our Florence trip?”, opinionated questions get sharper answers than generic ones.

What spends a credit

Only two things spend a credit: a concierge chat response, and adjusting a single day of your itinerary. A Concierge question with a photo attached uses 2 credits (reading the photo is part of the answer). Everything else is free, including opening the map, re-reading past answers, and checking your balance. If a question is out of scope (anything that isn't Italy travel) you get a short note back and no credit is spent. Trip Pass includes 200 credits and Italy Year includes 600 credits during your 12-month access period; top-ups start at €9 and need an active pass.
