What it looks at
Trip check reads your whole trip, cities, dates, nights, route, and saved sights, and runs it through the checks our editors care about: trip basics, pacing, night allocation, transfers and route, city fit and balance, and sights and must-sees. Each check passes, raises a flag, or is skipped when it doesn't apply to your trip yet.
Fixing what it finds
Every flag comes with a link to the right tool: pick dates, edit the route and nights, add cities, or save sights. Nothing is ever changed automatically, Trip check recommends and you decide.
Why the itinerary asks for it
Building your itinerary spends a trip window, so the app asks you to look at Trip check first (along with locked dates and, for multi-city trips, a saved route). One look is enough; the point is catching an overloaded route or an unassigned night before you commit a window.
When to come back
Re-visit after any big edit, a new city, changed dates, a reordered route. The checks always run against the current state of your trip, so the page is never stale.
