Arriving
Levanto. On the Genoa to La Spezia line and the northern terminus of the Cinque Terre Express; the beach and old town are a 10 minute walk from the station.

Levanto itself is a compact beach town on foot; the train is the tool, with Monterosso one stop away

Validate regional paper tickets before boarding.
Doing more than two village hops in a day, the Cinque Terre Card usually wins; it also covers the trails.
On foot
- ·The seafront, the old town and the medieval loggia are minutes apart on foot
- ·The former railway line to Bonassola and Framura is now a flat cycle and walking tunnel path along the sea, the area's easiest walk
Taxis and driving
