Exploring and discovering cities

Browse destinations by region, vibe, or tag. Learn how filters and city cards work.

The Explore page

The Explore page shows every Italian city in the catalogue. Use the tag filter chips (food, culture, history, beach, nightlife, etc.) and the region selector to narrow the grid. You can also type in the search box, it understands names and plain-language briefs like 'good food bases'. Cities are displayed as visual tiles with a hero photo, vibe tags, and a 12-month seasonality strip.

City pages

Click any city to open its full profile. You'll find an editorial blurb, a prices grid covering everyday costs (hostel, mid-range hotel, meals, coffee, beer, transit, short taxi, airport transfer, water, eSIM, attraction, and car rental) with an EUR/USD toggle, a seasonality calendar, monthly climate averages (highs, lows, rain days, sunshine hours from Open-Meteo) with a °C/°F toggle, things to do (POIs sourced from Wikidata) you can tick as must-sees, a neighbourhood map, and on major cities a Getting around section: how to arrive, local transit tickets and passes, walking reality, and taxi norms, verified against official operator sources with the official links to hand.

City tags and categories

Every city is tagged with relevant vibes: food, culture, history, art, nightlife, beach, romance, nature, wellness, walkable, and more. These tags power both the Explore filters and the smart search.
